Happy Halloween!! (Part 1)

Halloween morning started off with a trip to Nana's school. She was so excited to show off her "Monkey See...Monkey Do" babies! They ran around the school playing with balls, waving to the big kids and trick or treating!! Here are some pics of our little monkeys!!

Pray for Stellan!!

"Mck Mama" is a sweet mommy of a wonderful blog that I have been following for months and months. She is scheduled tomorrow morning to have her c-section and deliver preciuos Stellan into this world. His story is inspiring and courageous. God has shown his glory and healing hand on this sweet boy's heart through this pregnancy when all her physicians told them he will surely die and her own life would be a stake for taking heart medication for him. Here she is full-term and so far he has exceeded any medical science expectation. Please join us in prayer tomorrow morning as God bring this precious life into this world, we don't know His plan yet for him but we do know that HE has a plan!! Here is a little history from her blog.....

Mck Mama is a wonderful Jesus loving mommy to three kids, ages 3, 2, and 1. Tomorrow she will be delivering her fourth! Here's a quote from her blog about this special little guy: "He [Stellan] was quite unexpectedly given to us, and even more unexpected was his diagnosis of heart failure: Premature Atrial Contraction at 20 weeks; Supraventricular Tachycardia, hydrops, and intermittent advanced secondary heart block at 23 weeks; and enlargement of the heart at 32 weeks. We were told at 24 weeks that he would surely die. God performed a miracle and MckMuffin is still with us! The doctors are unsure about what will happen to our baby when he is born. But God is not unsure!! We are praying for MckMuffin's full healing, but we know that God is good no matter what He decides."

Apple Harvest

We spent a beautiful fall day apple picking in the apple orchards, sipping apple cider and visiting the petting zoo (which is Mia's favorite place to be!! She thinks every animal is hilarious and laughs hysterically)

Pumpkin Picking

We spent the whole afternoon at Tanaka Farms picking out pumpkins, running through the corn maze and riding in the wheelbarrel!! Last year we visited they were
itty bittys and enjoyed the sights but this year we had our running shoes on! Mommy and Daddy had just as much fun exploring the pumpkin farm through 1 year old eyes, what an adventure!

Frog & Bunny

Our little frog man and bunny girl are getting too big!!
In 17 months they have grown into full toddlerhood and are maturing before our eyes way too fast!! I can remember like it was yesterday propping them up to take their picture and now we have to snap a picture in 2 seconds or less or they are off and running!!

pumpkin slippers

Mia loves shoes. From the moment she crawls out of bed she wants her shoes on, she points out other peoples shoes and even carries around another pair while she is already wearing her own. I saw these little pumpkin socks that rattle when you walk (Target $3.99) and they were hit!! The kids love them and ran around all evening laughing at their pumpkin wigglie pigglies!!

Mr. & Mrs. Broas

We attended the wedding this weekend of two very special friends. Jen and I have been friends for 7 years and have seen each other through the valleys of life and have danced on the mountain tops. This weekend we celebated the most joyous occasion and witnessed Gods perfect union. The wedding was stunning down to the smallest detail. It was a perfect evening!!

A cozy Saturday night....

Saturday night finally provided for us some perfect fall weather. It was gloomy most of the day and by evening was cold and windy and on the brink of rain. So what better to do then light up the fireplace, slip into our jammies and bake some cupcakes!

Laughter

Once again the water table continues to be our favorite toy. When they are bored in the house all I have to say is lets go play in the water and off they go. I handed them 2 regular cups since they love to carry water around the yard but this time they thought it would be fun to drink from them! Hearing their laughter is the best sound in the world!
