At dinner tonight after a couple spoonfulls of chicken and applesauce Mia decided that she no longer wanted Mommy to feed her, she grabbed the spoon and scooped up her own applesauce and fed herself. When mommy tried to help her she very loudly (in her own language) told mommy NO!!!

Ah, I remember that stage very well. That was when Hunter stopped eating jarred foods and mommy had to get creative and come up with meals (finger foods he could pick up) to feed himself. He's still not coordinated with a spoon, but will allow me to feed him the Yobaby yogurt with a spoon!
