Hi! Welcome to our family blog!
We are a family balancing life in the O.C.
We have 4 year old twins, Mia and Jacob that fill our home with joy and laughter!! We can't wait to meet our newest arrival Noah Jameson in October. I love starbucks, playdates, organizing, decorating, crafting and working as a nurse! Most of all I love Jesus and everything He has blessed me with!!
We always have so much fun hangin with our "crew"! This summer has enriched our friendships, our love for Christ and our love and laughter for all our kiddo's!! When were all together, which is often I think we have a total of 17 kids with 3 more on the way! We are blessed!
Sunday morning before church will find Mia and Jacob waiting on the porch to leave and then asking for starbucks coffeecake to enjoy on our way..... Mia picking flowers with her favorite "purse" ...and then having lunch and splashing in the pool before our long Sunday afternoon naps!!
My best friend Traci (of 19 years..WOW!!) and I celebrated our 31st birthdays in June and headed out for a night on the town. We made reservations at Beso's, Eva Longoria's restaurant and had a perfect 'kid-free' meal. The atmosphere was amazing and so relaxing! Then we walked down the street and saw the Dirty Dancing Musical...as girls we watched this over and over and could probably sing the whole soundtrack...(you definitely wouldnt want us too..ha!) It was simply the best musical we have ever seen!!
What better way to begin the long holiday weekend then with the best girlfriends ever, since most of our hubbys were off Friday morning we all met up for coffee and pedicures! we kicked off the 4th of July weekend with a BBQ at Nana and Papa's house Friday evening... after our afternoon naps we headed out the door.....Jacob doesnt like to move too fast after his naps or when he even gets up in the morning so this is typical as we load into the car...but usually seconds later he is happily chirping away...gotta love this typical 2 year old face though..ha!
Saturday morning breakfast down in the Long Beach Marina...Schooner & Later...YUM!! The kids had so much fun watching the boats going in and out of the marina during breakfast! (excuse the blurry mobile phone pics)
We headed home for a nap, 4th of July dinner preparations and then off to the lake with fabulous friends!!
We had such a blast in downtown Los Angeles dining at Tinder Greens and then heading over to the popular Urth Cafe for some of the best latte and dessert I've ever had!!
Mia and Jacob are at such a fun age to hang out at the beach this year. Last year their new found mobility and 'no fear' standard had them and us all over the place. This year they are definitely more cautious not to run into the waves and are perfectly content to build sand castles and eat fruit in the sand. Were loving it and taking advantage of our very mild summer so far!
