We had a great day today, I'm so thankful to be working from home again and being able to spend more quality time with my 'twinks'!! This morning we headed off to our women's bible study and Mia and Jacob got to spend time with their favorite Mrs. Nancy and all their friends. Mia told me she learned about Jesus and they colored his picture, she loves telling me about Jesus!
We headed home afterwards to have some lunch, do some work while they played and then refused a nap (which then meant an early bedtime..yipppee) Late afternoon we got out some Christmas lights and did the front porch and the garden for Daddy!! Were hoping this weekend to get our big lights up since we seem to be the only house on the block without them right now :)
While dinner was cooking and laundry was washing (the story of my life..hehehe) we did a fun reindeer craft. I always try to include some handprint crafts every year and almost every season, its so bittersweet seeing their hands getting bigger and bigger!! The kids loved making the reindeer and had fun gluing everything together and then they told me...he needed a RED nose...they are so smart!!

Ohhhhh, LOVE the reindeer craft! Maddie would love that, since there's no fear of getting paint actually on her hands. :)
And yes, I TOTALLY sympathize with the nap thing. I've stopped trying Monday through Thursday, because of tutoring. It was just too frustrating for both of us. The only upswing is that bed is EARLY! :)
Great idea to add the pipe cleaner! Maybe we'll do that craft tonight. We did it last year and I have those up on the wall. You can use their shoe to make the reindeer head (outline), so you see how big their feet get too!
Your tree looks GORGEOUS! I'm jealous! :)
