a beautiful weekend!

We had such a great weekend, one with very few plans and lots of family time! I simply can't believe that our babies are inching closer to 3 and farther away from 2, it boggles my mind and leaves an ache in my heart. They are rapidly growing in their vocabulary, likes, dislikes and their will of what and where they want to go its amazing to watch and at times exhausting to reel in that precious little spirit of free will!! :)
We spent Saturday morning making breakfast and then headed out for haircuts for the kids, that was an experience that called for a long afternoon nap all by itself but we marched on and conquered Trader Joes and then home to get ready for Amaya's 2nd Birthday.

I'm not complaining though, John and I got to catch up with some friends and eat a little before they woke up and wanted to swing on the swings the whole party :)
