We have friends that live in the midwest and they love to share their passion for Sonic...or maybe rub it in because we didnt have one in Southern California but as soon as one opened in Mission Viejo we were SO there!!
The kids loved it and I've never had anything taste as refreshing and spectacular as the strawberry limeade..simply the best!!
Its been several weeks (not since I've been there) but since I came across these pics on my blackberry, John and I were laughing and reminiscing about our first Sonic experience with Mia our comedian!
While waiting for our food at this super fun roller derby drive-in we let Mia out of her seat while we waited for our food to arrive and be placed on our window, yes I was excited about that! John and I were talking while Mia played quietly in the backseat and Jacob snoozed in his seat, then Mia popped up and said "Oh!! here I am" with a snow beanie on her head twirling around. Where she found this in July in the backseat I'll never know but it made for the most memorable and fun visit ever!!
lets not forget the last time we were there our "Michelle Kwan" roller skater did a total 360 and ended up under our car with our food all over the place, seriously it wouldnt be funny except she told us she was Michelle Kwan and could skate like her right before this incident! This place is comedy..for us anyways :)
