The hardest part of the day has to be waking up either in the morning, from a nap or through the night. For a split second when I open my eyes I think maybe it was a horrible heartwrenching dream and then reality sets in and my heart drops to the floor. I find myself repeating over and over "Jesus help me, give me strength...I can't do this on my own", and He does. The Holy Spirit covers me with a blanket of comfort and I feel Jesus walking with me, holding me.
I was up this morning preparing lunch for the kids to take to school and I thought this is just like every other morning and life is moving on yet I feel like I'm standing still. I stopped to sit down and open the only book that can speak to my heart, His word. The house was quiet, my miracles still sleeping. As I tried to read the tears started to fall. His word is so tender to me right now, the sorrow fresh, each promise piercing my heart. I knew that the Holy Spirit was interceeding for me through my tears and the breaking of my heart so I sat and let Him surround me and hold me. A wave of peace fell over me and my tears dried, my heavy heart lifted and my sorrow subsided. How in love with my Savior I am even in the midst of this valley, He holds me, He sustains me, He is my refuge, He is my rock.
I was told to listen to this song and now that its on my iphone, I can't not listen to it, what an amazing beautiful song that speaks to both of our hearts right now. How joyful yet sorrowful that "heaven will hold you before we ever do, Heaven will be the only home you will ever know" Baby let sweet Jesus hold you til mom and dad can hold you, how precious and perfect those words are to our ears right now.
Here are the lyrics;
Watermark, Glory Baby
Glory baby you slipped away as fast as we could say baby…baby..
You were growing, what happened dear?
You disappeared on us baby…baby..
Heaven will hold you before we do
Heaven will keep you safe until we’re home with you…
Until we’re home with you…
Miss you everyday
Miss you in every way
But we know there’s a
day when we will hold you
We will hold you
You’ll kiss our tears away
When we’re home to stay
Can’t wait for the day when we will see you
We will see you
But baby let sweet Jesus hold you
‘till mom and dad can hold you…
You’ll just have heaven before we do
You’ll just have heaven before we do
Sweet little babies, it’s hard to
understand it ‘cause we’re hurting
We are hurting
But there is healing
And we know we’re stronger people through the growing
And in knowing-
That all things work together for our good
And God works His purposes just like He said He would…
Just like He said He would…
BRIDGE:
I can’t imagine heaven’s lullabies
and what they must sound like
But I will rest in knowing, heaven is your home
And it’s all you’ll ever know…all you’ll ever know…

This is so beautiful! You are right, heaven is holding your sweet little one and what an amazing feeling that must be for him/her. God is holding his other baby right now too and that is you! Stay close to him and he will pull you through this pain.
That is beautiful! When one of my best friend's lost her little one, I sent her a cd with Held by Natalie Grant. To this day, I think of her when I hear that song. Another one to help you remember that our Father has you in his arms even when you don't feel like you can move on....
