"Fishies"

Mia and Jacob LOVE to go see the "fishies and birdies" AKA The Long Beach Aquarium. I can hardly mention it before bedtime or they are up and dressed and at the front door before I've even gotten my first morning coffee :) Were so blessed to have passes so we can go all year long anytime we want. Its the perfect morning outing :)

Party, Party, Party

In the last few weeks Mia and Jacob have attended 2 birthday parties and have 3 more they are invited to in the next two weeks, so if your looking for us on a particular Saturday or Sunday that's probably where we are at! Apparently Mia and Jacob are quite popular and they love parties!! Mia is all about watching the presents and Jacob is all about CAKE!! I can't believe I'm already starting to figure out what we'll do for their 3rd Birthday in February....how is that even possible!!

Summer Evening Dates...

We love dating each other which is a good thing because were married...with children ...which puts a whole new spin on your marriage (especially if you get 2 at the same time), an amazing spin but well you know if your married with children..so I'll just leave it at that. Getting back to the point we love planning dates, looking forward to them and then enjoying it all while usually laughing at the antics and laughter our babies bring us. I dont bring my camera very often because mostly its a camera break for me without the kids :)

One particular Saturday evening I did, we had spent the day at the beach and then headed out for some amazing Shabu Shabu with "Hot Mama" and her special sauce, she was hilarious and kept us in laughter all evening. Our friends had recommended this restaurant in Mission Viejo and we can't wait to go back~

Here is Hot Mama!!

Beach and Baptism Day with our Kingsfield Church Family

It was a gorgeous Saturday down in Laguna, we had so much fun playing in the sand, racing against the waves with the kids, eating and fellowhsipping with our Kingsfield Church Family!

Summer Fun

I can't believe the summer is coming to an end. It has been such a great summer with the twins, I have enjoyed every second of their new found independence, vocabulary and excitement with what each new day holds. Heading to the Park, Beach, Disneyland, Aquarium, Playdates or a BBQ brings with us many smiles, clapping and cheering!

Warm evenings at the Turtle Splash Pad with their best friend Ava!! So fun!!

Splashing around in the pool after church...we have so much fun with Daddy!!

Another splash pad with Nana and Papa...

Letters to Great Grandma

We found out a couple weeks ago that my Grandma was recently diagnosed with end stage cancer. She lives in the beautiful olympic peninsula of Washington and I have many fond memories of spending a few summers up there with my brother. We would stay busy gardening, shopping, sightseeing and almost every afternoon we would relax by the ocean.

Thinking about that now makes me realize that those few things are some of my very favorite and relaxing things to still do now. She has left a beautiful fingerprint on my life. Were still in the midst of finding out more details, planning a trip to see her, but in the meantime the kids are sending off some great grandma love!

This is the only pic I could find of all of us together, the last few visits I havent been able to stop the kids for a picture :)

Zoomars Farm with Nana & Papa

Papa just got back from his trip to Washington so today they scooped up the kids and headed out to Zoomars Farm in San Juan Capistrano.
